Minimum efficiency index
Minimum efficiency index (MEI) means the dimensionless scale unit for hydraulic pump ef ficiency at best efficiency point (BEP), part load (PL, 75 % BEP) and overload (OL,110 % BEP). The Commission Regulation (EU) sets efficiency requirements to MEI ≥ 0.40 as from 1 January 2015.
